Online Safety
At St John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School we understand the importance of educating our pupils in Online Safety issues.
As part of our computing curriculum, we promote responsible behaviour on the Internet and teach children skills to help them remain safe when they are online. Children in school discuss how to use ICT safely in school and agree to follow certain rules when using the Internet and related technologies in school. Click on the links below to view these agreements:
Online Safety for Children with SEND
The Internet and other digital and information technologies can be an exciting and powerful tool for learning. However, the use of these new technologies can also put young people at risk both inside and outside of school. It is important to stay aware of possible risks and actions you can take to help safeguard your children when they are online.
